Doug & Scott Fielder will be leading the October 21 hike and will be going on a portion of the upper Riddell State Park. Meet at Price Chopper at 9:30 a.m. to consolidate cars (limited parking near upper Park trail entrance) or go directly to the Park by 9:45 a.m. Bring a lunch to eat on the trail. The hike should last until approximately 12:30 p.m. Call 638-5436. | ||

The Tuesday hike on November 18 will meet at the Hanaford parking lot in Oneonta at 9:30. We will hike at The Nature Conservancy's West Branch Preserve which is closed to hunting. It is located on Route 10 near Hamden in Delaware County. The outstanding features of the area are its stand of old growth pine and hemlock trees and a remarkable, very large white oak. We try to visit this tree each year and encourage it. There are long and short trails, neither one very demanding. Bring a lunch. Nina and Joe, 829-8358 | ||

This is a reminder that Dr. Stalter's first class on his "High Altitude Climbing" adventures is on for this Wed., Nov 12, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Morris Hall on the SUCO Campus. Since the second class has been scheduled for Nov. 19 and Jean Seroka is his class assistant, the ADK dinner meeting planned for that evening will not be held. All ADKers are welcome to attend these two CCAL classes. Call Lucille Wiggin 432-1022 or Jean Seroka 988-7007 for directions. Parking is very available during evening hours. | ||
