Adirondack High Peaks Lecture

James E. Mackin, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, is pleased to announce that Tyra A. Olstad, Assistant Professor of Geography and Environmental Sustainability, will deliver the annual Richard Siegfried Lecture titled “Stewardship and Sense of Place in the Adirondack High Peaks,” on Tuesday, December 5 at 7:00 pm in the Craven Lounge, Morris Conference Center. Created to recognize faculty achievement outside the classroom, Dr. Olstad is the twenty-third recipient of the Richard Siegfried Junior Faculty Prize for Academic Excellence. The $1,000 award is made possible by generous gifts from Alumni to the 2017-2018 Fund for Oneonta and gifts to the College at Oneonta Foundation. The lecture is free and open to the public. A dessert reception will follow the lecture.
