Susquehanna Chapter ADK

There is a slight change in our hike for Tuesday, September 23, 2008. We will do our hike at Basswood Pond and anyone who would like to, can stop with us on our way back to Oneonta at Tom & Jo Salo's Christmas Tree Farm to look over the two new ponds and the very interesting Root Cellar.
Time: 9:30 AM we leave the old Ames parking lot. Meet at the Family Dollar end.
An altermative meeting place is the triangular T intersection of Hwys 205 and 80 (not Hwys 28 & 80). Be at this intersection by 9:50 am.

We will park on Jacobs Road where we will split into two groups. Those who want a more level trail will do the Blue Trail (approx.2 Miles). Those who want a more hilly walk will do the Yellow Trail (approx 2 1/2 Miles). We will meet for lunch at the Pond. When we head back, we will go by way of Route 51 and drive the few miles to Tom's for a look at the ponds and root cellar. Anyone interested should join us.
