Betty and Wilbur Davis State Park Hike – Tuesday, July 5, 2016

Star Field Hike and K-9 Demonstration - Tuesday, June 28, 2016

Goodyear Lake Hike – Tuesday, June 21, 2016

Report by Linda Pearce - The first full day of summer brought with it a beautiful morning for hiking at Goodyear Lake. Twenty-nine participated in the walk to the Collier's Dam, while three others walked on the lake roads. Our 3-mile hike to the dam took us along the railroad tracks, then on Silliman Cove Road to the State Land.

SUNY Oneonta College Camp Hike – Tuesday, June 7, 2016

Report by Currie Marr - Twenty-two participants hiked a 3.5 mile, red-orange trail-loop, through the woodlands of College Camp. Along the way we stopped at a map-station and traced our route, fantasized that a deformed tree trunk was a prehistoric animal, and noted blooming wildflowers.

Hike to Mud Lake - Tuesday, May 24, 2016

Report by Aleda Koehn - Twelve eager hikers huffed our way up the first steep leg of our trip to Mud Lake. The day was beautiful- not to hot and no bothersome insects. We were looking for late spring wildflowers. We did see many, but not as abundant nor as advanced as last year when we did the same trail on May 19. The Star Flower was seen and many budding False-Lily-of-the-Valley.

Greenway Hike – Tuesday, May 10, 2016

Report by Erika Baker-Heinegg - On a beautiful Tuesday morning 32 enthusiastic hikers arrived for a walk around the Greenway in Oneonta, NY. The idea was to identify the new vegetation, blooming flowers and singing birds. Our encounters were very rewarding. The leader suggested concluding the hike by viewing the ADK Susquehanna Memorial Bench alongside a trail at The Plains at Parish Homestead.

Greenwoods Conservancy Hike - Tuesday, April 19, 2016

Report by Monica Peters - Tuesday morning arrived with pleasant weather to hike the Greenwoods Conservancy trails in the Town of Burlington. Seventeen ADKers showed up at Zachow Road. Two more were welcomed later on Cranberry Bog Road. Dr. Pedersen (grantor of the Trust) stopped by to say hello. The group proceeded over the field to the lean-to and walked down to the dock where
