Goodyear Lake Hike – Tuesday, June 26, 2018

Report by Linda Pearce - On a gorgeous summer morning, thirty-one hikers gathered at our house to walk at Goodyear Lake. While seven people walked on the lake roads, the rest of us did the 3-mile walk on the south end of the lake.

Hike to Mud Lake - Tuesday, June 19, 2018

Report by Currie Marr - Thirteen participants hiked to Mud Lake from the Upper Riddell State Park trail entrance. Unlike the muggy hot day before, the weather for this strenuous hike was ideal. Especially the cool breeze was welcomed.

Audubon Tails – Tuesday, June 12, 2018

Report by Jack & Jann Ewen - Twenty participants walked the Audubon trails and several extended their experience by walking around Emmons Bog where they also discovered a beautiful waterfall. The good news is that this Tuesday gave us fantastic weather: sunny, mild breeze, low humidity, and 70+ degrees. This is an exception for TUESDAYS of this year.

Wilber Park Hike – Tuesday, June 5, 2018

Report by Glenda Bolton - A little rain did not dull the enthusiasm of 14 hikers as we enjoyed the beauty of Wilber Park. Some of the group walked the lower loop around the park while others traversed the mountain bike/hiking trails of the park's upper level. I think we all agreed how fortunate we are to have this lovely park so close to home.

Neahwa Park Hike -Tuesday, May 22, 2018

Report by Lucille Wiggin - Tuesday, May 22, was a rainy day, again, so only eight of us assembled in Neahwa Park for a walk. We actually covered a couple of miles around the periphery of the park, along the Mill Race to River St.

Rail Trail Hike – Tuesday, May 15, 2018

Photos by Jennifer Hyypio - A few pics from the “non” hike Tuesday. When the rain and lightning cancelled the Rail Trail hike starting at the trailhead in Bloomville, a few of us went to a café where we celebrated Julie Smiths birthday!

Franklin Mountain Hike – Tuesday, May 8, 2018

Hike Photos - On a sunny, balmy day 22 people walked from the Hebbard’s property through meadows and on roads to see their neighbor’s spectacular Daffodil gardens in prime-bloom. Along the way a diversity of wild life was noted – deer, frogs, fish, and wildflowers (e.g. Spring Beauty).

Clark Tower Trails – Tuesday, May 1, 2018

Report by Liza Mundy - What a lovely day for a hike. Twenty-two participants hiked the Clark Tower trails. To start, a 1/2 mile hike around the field to get a great view of Otsego Lake, and then up to the tower. There is little written history on this structure, built by Ambrose Clark, but a lot of interesting gossip.

Hunt’s Pond Hike – Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Report by Ruth Shaeffer - The hike on April 24 was at Hunt's Pond, South New Berlin. It was a beautiful, bright day with 19 hikers ready to enjoy a hike. A few remembered hiking here, but for many it was a new area. This week the ice was gone for the most part, just a little spot here and there. We walked mostly by the pond and saw Colt's Foot along the road.
