There were 19 hikers who gathered at Crumhorn Mountain on Tuesday, September 1. It was a beautiful cool clear day and you could definitely feel Fall in the air. We had a nice easy hike around the Boy Scout camp and through the woods making a loop back to the road where there was a choice of returning to the cars or continuing around the lake. After returning to the parking lot several people stayed and ate lunch at the picnic table. We were sorry that Lucille decided not to join us as it was a little to cool for swimming as we had planned.
