Thirteen people met at Goodyear Lake for the outing – 4 walked the lake roads, while 2 skied and 7 snowshoed on the railroad tracks. Even with mounds of snow around us, it began to feel spring-like as the sun came out and warmed the air (and us). Those who returned to the house early enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sun and watching the backyard birds at the feeders. We ended our morning with soup and chili for lunch. You can never tell what March will bring.
