Seven snowshoers and 2 walkers met at Clark Sports Center and proceeded to Beaver Meadow Road to park and enter the Clark Tower trails. Even after the heavy rains of Monday, there was adequate snowpack, which had softened. We followed the trail around the ponds and beaver dam, and accessed the bicycle trail toward the top of the woods. Cutting across the last switchback, we came to the old water tower and then traveled downhill and out of the area. Beautiful blue sky and bright sunshine made the 2 hour trek most enjoyable.
