Report by Charlene & Jim Higgins Twenty-three hikers traversed the trails at Wilber Park in Oneonta, NY this overcast morning. The temperature was warm for this time of year at 56 degrees. We started our hike by the pavilion near the playground area and traveled the trails to the housing development past the high school and back. We often felt like we were in a conga line with all the switch backs on the trail. The hikers encountered a red fox near the high school which was a nice surprise. Many commented that they were unaware of the trails in the park and that they would return for more exploration on their own. The hike took about 2 hours. Photographs by Currie Marr
