Report by Kay Kantorowski – Twenty-four ADK members met at the Farmer’s Museum parking lot in Cooperstown on January 10, then proceeded to the Moe Pond trail. The new wood road was easy walking, and several (actually 7) points of interest were discussed on the hike that led into the woods, up to a viewpoint of Otsego Lake, and back down to connect with the service road to the Farmer’s Museum. The view of the golf course and Otsego Lake from the leanto was outstanding and enjoyed by all. A few tiny snowflakes were in evidence, but didn’t make for any difficulties with footing on the descent. Great day for a walk!! Photographs by Doug Fielder.
