Report by Linda Pearce It was a pleasant morning as sixteen hikers participated in the outing at Goodyear Lake. Starting out along the railroad tracks, we then followed wooded trails on the south end of the lake which took us through both private and state land. For a few hikers, it was the first time they had viewed the Collier’s Dam up close, as well as the portage area around the dam used by the Clinton Canoe Regatta racers on Memorial Day. When we returned, we enjoyed some hot soup and good fellowship.
