Report by Rita Salo – We waited until 7:00 A.M. on Tuesday morning to officially cancel the Brookfield Horse Trails Hike. The rain was already started and the High Wind Warning meant the woods would be a dangerous place to be. However, we also had to cancel our trip to Golden Artists Colors in New Berlin.
I told Barbara Golden that I would share the following information with our members. – Golden Artists has three Web Sites for anyone who wants to know their story. It is a heartwarming business history of Samuel and Adele Golden, who moved the business to New Berlin from Brooklyn, NY. A new show will open at the Art Gallery on October 6, 2012, featuring the paintings of Knox Martin. There will be a talk by Knox Martin at 4:00 P.M. on that day.
