Report by Kay Kantorowski – The October 23 hike began at Fernleigh Farm with a few facts about the property. Then 12 members walked on the woods roads toward Van Yahres Road, up over the hill, and returned back to the barnyard. There was intermittent light rain, and wet, slippery leaves and stones, so it was decided not to return by Star Field, which would also have had a lot of very wet grass.
