Report by Julie Smith – Thirteen ADKers met at the Pine Lake Center on Tuesday, Oct. 8 for an outing. Four biked along the Charlotte Creek Rd., Seven hiked around Pine Lake, and Two hiked to Mud Lake and back. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the beautiful fall day–warm and sunny. Currie reported that when they reached Mud Lake, the serenity, fall colors, and bog flowers were greatly enjoyed. For one person, the water-bed behavior of the sphagnum was a new experience.
