Report by Rita Salo – It was really cold today – 8 degrees as I drove to Cooperstown. It was a pleasant surprise to have three people show up for the Ski/Snowshoe at The Leatherstocking Golf Course. When we started out, there was no wind, but as we came around to the lakeside it started to blow. It was not steady, only short gusts and then a break. Three of us skied and Brenda, one of our newest members, kept up with us on her new snowshoes for the entire distance. What a woman! The snow was absolutely perfect. The sun shone most of the time. We had a perfect Winter experience.
