Report by Jim Austin – The April 29, 2014 hike was at Gilbert Lake State Park. A group of four hikers walked around the lake and 20 hikers walked to Ice Pond and Lake of the Twin Fawns. The hikes were about 1 mile and 3.3 miles respectively. It did not rain, we did not get lost, and the gorp did not contain chocolate. The path was mostly dry, a bonus for this time of year. The hike finished by walking past the cabins. They are looking good as they are upgraded. We all had a good time. Photographs by Jim Austin.
