Report by Julie Smith – 18 ADK’ers plus Sara and Ethan from Otsego Land Trust enjoyed a great 3 mile hike on one of the Greenwoods Trails around beautiful protected land near Burlington. Tuesday turned out to be a fantastic walking day–cool, partly cloudy, no bugs, and no rain. Two wild critters were spotted on the hillside. The black and white sheep in the woods was a real surprise to see. Sure hope it finds its way home. Also, a young porcupine was seen ambling through the forest. Sara and Ethan had hot apple cider for us when we returned to the cars. A fun morning was had by all! Photographs are by Carol McIntosh.
