Report by Julie Smith – Sixteen ADKers enjoyed a 2.8 mile hike along Andy’s Trail at Betty and Wilber Davis State Park. Tuesday was cool/partly sunny and a perfect day for the walk. We spotted beaver activity near the wetlands, a stand on “Margret’s tree”(she climbed the ladder on her last visit to the park), and a huge layered fungus at the base of a tall tree. What a fun surprise to come upon the carved bear along the trail near the picnic area. A number had never seen it before. All seemed to have a great morning.
