Report by Lucille Wiggin – Tuesday the 8th was a most unusual March day, with temperatures up to 65 and no wind. So, 21 enthusiastic ADKers walked a trail we have neglected for several years; the old Carriage Road from Chicken Farm Hill Rd. to Star Field along the east ridge above Otsego Lake. It is “mud season” so the trail was alternately wonderful and challenging. However, this is also the season when one can see more thru the forest. The view of Otsego Lake, the Farmer’s Museum and Three Mile Point were our reward. Photographs taken by Fred Johnson.
