Report by Erika Baker-Heinegg – On a beautiful Tuesday morning 32 enthusiastic hikers arrived for a walk around the Greenway in Oneonta, NY. The idea was to identify the new vegetation, blooming flowers and singing birds. Our encounters were very rewarding. The leader suggested concluding the hike by viewing the ADK Susquehanna Memorial Bench alongside a trail at The Plains at Parish Homestead. Several members took advantage of the offer. After the hike four people went to the Undercover Eggplant for lunch. On this glorious spring day everyone seemed to enjoy the Greenway hike. Photographs taken by Fred Johnson.
