Report by Ruth Schaeffer – Twenty-seven ADKer’s hiked New Island in Oneonta, NY. We started off at Catella Park and had a nice picture taken of us at the dam. We hiked both the blue and yellow trail for a total of 3.8 miles. We had first time hikers with us and some others who had hiked before who were new to this trail. It is nice that it is being kept up! It was a beautiful, sunny fall day. Photos by Fred Johnson.
