Report by Julie Smith – The ADK hike on Tuesday, Oct. 4, was the Rail Trail starting in Grand Gorge. On a cloudy but lovely morning with much evidence of autumn colors and cool temperatures, 17 ADKers and friends walked 3.8 miles along the Trail. Many stopped at Sundaes Restaurant for lunch before returning home. We missed Fran Darrah who usually leads this hike.
