Report by Betsy Cunningham – Twenty-five highly motivated ADK hikers climbed a 2,817 ft. summit on Bramley Mountain in Delhi, NY. This trail designed and maintained by the Catskill Mountain Club includes an easy walk to an old quarry followed by a difficult 1.2 mile climb through majestic woods, stone walls and impressive rocks and caves. Hikers rewarded themselves with a picnic lunch while enjoying beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains. An unusually warm October day made efforts even more enjoyable. Once reinvigorated the hikers followed a 1.8 mile trail down the mountain past acres of blackberry bushes completing a 4 mile loop.
