Report by Kathy Carey – Twenty hikers traveled to the Ridge Road home of Kathy and Chris Carey on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, for the last hike of the year. It had rained the night before, so the route had to be re-directed due to icy conditions, but everyone enjoyed soup for lunch at the end of the hike. A highlight of the hike was a bald eagle that flew overhead at very low altitude. Photos by Fred Johnson.
