Report by Currie Marr – About 20 ADKers began the New Year by hiking on Franklin Mountain starting from Sally and Rod Hebbard’s home. “Lady Luck” favored the venture by withholding the predicted freezing rain. Along the way a tree stump was found to be a perfect photo frame. After the hike we all entered the warmth of Hebbard’s lovely home where we enjoyed their 12 foot Christmas tree and a hearty lunch.
