Report by Kathy Carey – We had an ADK hike at the home of Kathy and Chris Carey. Twenty-one hikers enjoyed a walk through the rolling hills and fields on a warm and sunny day, followed by a sandwich luncheon back at the house. We met the neighbors’ beef cows and ate some wild blueberries. Fortunately, the black bear that had been seen in the vicinity the previous week did not make an appearance, though we did find some scat. Thank you to all who attended.
