Report & Photos by Fred Johnson – Thirty hikers toured the edges of the Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School elementary playgrounds and high school athletic fields. Included was a step off the field onto the Joseph Seroka Nature Trail designed by ADK member Joe when he was a teacher at G-MU. Hikers continued up the trail to the Tom Morris property following trails through the woods, took a break at the Morris cabin, and then followed the Morris driveway downhill and reconnected with the Seroka trail and G-MU athletic fields. Next many of the hikers drove a short distance to Copes Corners Park for lunch and a review of the day’s hike.
