Report by Bob Ciganek and Julie Smith – Finally. A crisp and sunny Spring Tuesday morning greeting 19 ADKers at the Pine Lake Environmental Center. From there we hiked through the heavily wooded trail hugging majestic Charlotte Creek. Not far from the creek and high in a well-branched sycamore resided an active nesting pair of Bald Eagles. From there we followed the railroad bed to a working horse farm. From there it was back to a memorial trail to Pine Lake. It was a good hike and special thanks to several of our hikers who cleared our paths of limbs and branches. Photo Credits: Tag photo of group by Fred Johnson; other photos by Betsy O’Brien.
