From the Fortin Park parking lot, braving the cold morning air and lightly snow-covered ground, 17 ADKers walked past two former F&F Airport hangars, up a little hill, through a wooded area bordering a meadow, back down the hill, along the banks of the Susquehanna River to where the Charlotte Creek enters the Susquehanna. There we posed for a group picture on the platform built many years ago by members of Trout Unlimited. We continued on around the perimeter of the old, grassy landing field to complete a very brisk 2-mile walk.
