Report by Roberta Austin. Nineteen hikers met at Windswept Acres to walk 3.2 miles through wooded areas and beautiful meadows. The trails are well maintained and provide many hours of enjoyment to people and their horses. We saw tiny toads and colorful wildflowers. Some hikers enjoyed eating their lunch among the flower gardens.
We were fortunate to have clear skies and a persistent breeze to cool us as we shared our stories and the love of our great outdoors.
