Report by Ruth Schaeffer. Eighteen hikers showed up ready to hike along Hunt’s Pond in New Berlin. We walked just under three miles, doing all of the camping loops. Along the way, we saw some wildflowers, as well as three families camping. It was a beautiful summer day, not to hot and with a slight breeze blowing. A few of us stayed after we returned to our cars and had a nice lunch at the new pavilion, with two large picnic tables, built below the parking area overlooking the pond. Even with a forecast of showers, we were able to be rain free, until the ride home. Photo by Tom Austin.
